(11/2011) After opening around forty boutiques in just 4 years in locations such as the Place Vendôme, Beverly Hills, Madison Avenue, Ginza, Cannes, Moscow, Shanghai and Bejing, Hublot is continuing its fantastic expansion into the world's most prestigious locations by opening a boutique in Gstaad. It will open its doors with its Genevan partner and long-time friend Benoit de Gorski in mid-December, in a prime location in the middle of the main pedestrian route through the village.

The auction of 319 collectible timepieces attracted 353 registered internet and phone bidders from around the world. International bidding came from countries such as Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, the Russian Federation, the Netherlands, Canada and the United States. Strong prices were achieved resulting in 78% sold by lot and 119 % sold by value.

(07/2011) Following the clear recovery of 2010, watch exports continued to grow in the first half of 2011. Their value after six months stood at 8.7 billion francs, an increase of 19.3% compared to the first half of 2010. Last year’s level was therefore surpassed by more than 1.4 billion francs. This strong increase placed the sector above the benchmark result of 2008.
