Swiss watchmaker OMEGAPierce Brosnan opens flagship store in Milan
Pierce Brosnan, who plays secret agent 007 in the 20th James Bond film and is an ambassador for the prestige Swiss watchmaker OMEGA, officially opened the new OMEGA Flagship Store on Via Montenapoleone 25 in Milan. The store is the first of its kind in Italy and promises to become the address for prestige watch and jewellery enthusiasts from all over the world, due to its excellent location on the street that symbolises Italian style.
Brosnan opened the doors of the new store to the press and VIP guests. Together with similar stores in Zurich, Paris, Cannes, Bangkok and Auckland, the new OMEGA Flagship Store in Milan demonstrates the Swiss watchmaker's pioneering spirit, combining classic elegance with contemporary chic.
OMEGA's Milan address fronts three show windows on the world's most famous fashion street, ensuring the utmost prominence for OMEGA's style and products. The store offers a welcoming, relaxed and elegant atmosphere, underscored by cream walls, maple furniture and comfortable chairs in red alcantara. The ceiling takes the form of the night sky, with luminous fibre-optic stars reminiscent of the brand's famous Constellation line. For the ribbon-cutting ceremony, the prestigious store has been transformed to resemble scenes from the latest Bond movie "Die Another Day", which premieres in Italy in February 2003.
The Montenapoleone store is also the first in Italy to stock the new OMEGA Bijoux collection, which takes up anew OMEGA's jewellery-making tradition of the 1960s. The precious jewels combine the absolute in material quality with a strong OMEGA design, exemplified by details such as the claws seen on the Constellation watches and brilliant-cut diamonds with the same red tinge as the tradition OMEGA red. Furthermore, the brand has a superb cast of famous ambassadors such as Cindy Crawford, Anna Kournikova and Martina Hingis to promote the discreet luxury of its new jewellery.
