Slender alternative: the No.03 now comes in a 40-millimeter caseMeisterSinger presents a slim version of its classic wristwatch
MeisterSinger manufactures mechanical watches for people who know just what is important to them. MeisterSinger single-hand watches always follow strict aesthetic concepts, such as the exclusive use of double-digit hour markings on the dial.
This design principle was already an integral part of the company’s very first models, which were, of course, also given double-digit names, including the No.01 and No.02 hand-wound models as well as the No.03 with its automatic movement, winner of the Good Design Award.
MeisterSinger has now developed a contemporary, slender version of this classic timepiece: the “No.03 – 40 mm” is not only three millimeters smaller in diameter, it is also more than one millimeter flatter than the larger No.03. That may not sound like a lot, but makes a big difference when worn on the wrist – turning the 40-millimeter version into a completely different watch: more discreet, more elegant, and ideal for everyday use.
Circular date window
The distinction is also borne out by the date display, which is placed at the six o’clock position and a feature the larger version does not have. Typical for MeisterSinger, the date window is circular and the color of the date disk is in harmony with that of the dial. The new No.03 is available in three color combinations: opaline silver, ivory, and a blue dial with a fine sunburst design and striking red quarter-hourly markings. The models are available with suede leather wristbands in matching colors.
The “No.03 – 40 mm” is powered by a Swiss-made automatic movement with a 38-hour power reserve, which can be viewed through a glass exhibition back affixed with screws. Its stainless steel case is waterproof up to 5 bar.
The new version of this classic wristwatch is on sale now.
