Wirtschaftswoche Luxury RankingA. Lange & Söhne remains Germany's leading luxury brand

The acclaimed watch brand from Saxony retains its standing as Germany’s leading luxury brand: For the fourth time in a row – after 2007, 2009, and 2011 –, A. Lange & Söhne tops the list of the “Wirtschaftswoche Luxury Ranking”. The roster of Germany’s 30 most eminent luxury brands is published by the business magazine every two years.

Outpacing the runner-up by ten per cent, A. Lange & Söhne heads up the list of Germany’s most respected automobile, furniture, watch, jewellery, and fashion brands by a large margin. With 244 out of 300 possible points, the watchmaking company even gained five points in comparison with the previous survey. Apart from price indicators, the rating also includes brand appeal, the attractiveness of the brand from the consumer’s perspective. The Munich-based brand consulting firm Biesalski & Company conducted the ranking polls in co-operation with the agency Brand Network on behalf of “Wirtschaftswoche”. The results were published in today’s issue of the weekly magazine.
