(06/2010) At first glance, it is an enticing offer: a new  TAG Heuer Calibre S Regatta at a price of 1666,88 Euros including shipping costs in the online shop of 1-2-3.tv. If you order the watch , you must pay in advance if you are ordering for the first time. In the case of the order on hand of a customer, a period of tense waiting started first after the confirmation of the payment receipt. It took 9  days to receive the watch. Probably the watch was not on stock and had to be procured first.

And of course you can also „buy watches conveniently and safe“. Too bad only that most of the watch brands offered there are hardly known to viewers, jewellers and special dealers.

(03/2010) The account of Webauktion24 GmbH is still not blocked by Ebay, even if the number of negative ratings is exploding. At least,  no new watches are being offered. According to our information however, there was much more damage caused than originally expected. More than 50 negative ratings in the last 4 weeks make us expect the worst. The insolvency of Webauktion24 GmbH may develop into one of the greatest for Ebay in the branch of watches.

(02/2010) It is over! The end of January 2010 the Ebay-Powerseller Webauktion24 GmbH with residence in the Rahlstedter Straße 92 in 22149 Hamburg had to register insolvency. At the time, the company had more than 26.000 ratings on Ebay. Currently, no more auctions and offers are listed on Ebay. But now, negative ratings are piling up. It is to be assumed that again – like in the case Topseconds – hundreds of customers will wait in vain for their goods resp. money. Especially as Webauktion24 GmbH also auctioned off higher valued watches.

The watch can be bought immediately or you can suggest a price as an alternative.

On January 16^th, 2007 the brand of Marco Heimrich from Landshut is registered at the German patent and brand office. The further procedure is meanwhile a standard among the „new“ watch brands. The domain is secured, a nice homepage is set up, and the watches are then sold on the common online sales channels like Amazon, Ebay and Yatego.

The advertisement shows a .com-domain, on which forged watches of the brands Bell & Ross, Breitling, Cartier, Chanel, Corum, Franck Muller, IWC, Jakob & Co, Montblanc, Omega, Patek Philippe, Rolex, Tag Heuer and Vacheron Constantin are offered. Even payment via PayPal was possible.

First scamming with watches, then with cameras

(10/2009) It is unbelievable! In August 2009 the scammer Stefan W. was able to go about his scamming business without a problem. At this time, he offered a camera on fototalk.de for 899 Euros. The attentive reader „660feet“ then provided clarification with his posting the middle of October 2009 and a link to www.trustedwatch.de. Hopefully it was not too late to warn potentially interested parties. TrustedWatch received the information from one of our readers.

Scammer not only trades watches but also photo accessories

(10/2009) His business model was and is simple. Offer high quality products as a private dealer on the Internet, receive payment in advance, and never deliver the products. Especially infamous that the scammer often falsely acquired the trust of his victims over months in the forums. Until now, only cases from different watch forums were known, now it seems that the scammer who was then known under his member name „ducaticorse21“ has expanded his area of activity.

A watch in – as stated - in „Tourbillon-look“ is actually nothing else than a watch with a simple open balancing wheel, which have been offered especially in China works for years now. Unfortunately, this has very little to do with a Tourbilllon and even the 24 h advertisement does not justify the price in our opinion. Even if the word creation „Tourillon“ - is admittedly very creative.

This means, the offer includes two quartz watches and a mechanical watch with Chinese clockwork, and if you order two watches, you only have to pay for one for 98 Euros. The advertisement awakens the impression that the offered watches watches each costs up to 199 Euros and one thus has a massive saving of more than 50 percent.
