Diver´s watch of the brand Brandtaucher more expensive than the recommended sales price of the manufacturer
It is one of these typically dubious offers that make the marketplace Ebay a risk for unsuspecting customers. With the article number 320445104442 the commercial provider Peters Onlineshops, Peter Pilz with residence in the Bensheimer Str. 2 in 63128 Dietzenbach a.k.a. „petersonlineshop0607“ is currently offering a new diver´s watch of the brand Brandtaucher with „box and papers“ at a price of 366 Euros. The watch can be bought immediately or you can suggest a price as an alternative.
The providers has no risk, as the new watch costs only 279 Euros new in direct trade! This is also the recommended sales price of the manufacturer. No wonder, that the provider Peter Pilz was not available for a statement. Wolfgang Bethge, owner of the brand Brandtaucher and firmly rooted in German specialist trade for years says: „We do not supply such online traders in general, as usually, no qualified service can be offered. This is why we have been trusting only jewellers and specialist traders for decades!“.
Whether the watch is new or not is also doubted by Wolfgang Bethge. He did not supply the provider. Peter Pilz could have only purchased the watch from one of the specialist trader customers of Wolfgang Bethge. Then, the watch would only be „like new“ and the offer not only just dubious but…!
The only negative rating says everything! On August 24th, 2009 the member "calisel" rates the article number 320408554175 as follows: "consciously false article description with scamming intention ATTENTION DUBIOUS“. Nothing more to be said.
